There are way to many around, from inshore to the canyons they have over run the bottom, wish they start netting them and thin them out a little.
My pliers to the brain usually calms them down and a couple clips of the spines ensures they will never hurt another fisherman during their life span......

I take pleasure in catching every last one, cutting the tails and fins off, cutting the babies from the womb, and feeding them all to the other waiting dogfish. They are an absolute menace that almost single handedly is responsible for the near collapse of any fishery that they come in contact with.

Saying that they are endangered is about as accurate as saying that A-Rod is a clutch player.... Go Red Sox!
