Good work Lee and Seth! Glad to see you guys are having good fishing. Just need a little less zoom.

Good stuff! Nothing like a top water bite.

We've got lots of pups up here right now... I may have to put away the cast net and pull some dogs out of the tackle box.

    Nice 11 spotter.

Capt. Lee - just re-watched the video... never gets old.

Question: Have you tried a "drag anchor" instead of a drift sock? We use'em over here to drift sand/oyster bars.

Mine is a 4' section on steel pipe that I've filled part-way w/concrete.

Don't like them in the skinnie water, the fish seems to get up tight from them draging, I think it comes from the netters tossing out the net anchors and them draging, but I will put out my stern mud anchor after I find fish but I don't want it to drag at all...

I hear you... or "they" hear you! I've been thinking of modifying the anchor with some sort of spray on coating like the Rhino-Liner so it wouldn't cause so much racket over oyster rocks (as I'm pretty sure I've had the same experience as you with the fish being spooked).

I'll give the "sock" a shot... do the oyster rocks tear it up.

    Thanks Lee.
