I don't post many fishing reports anymore, but sometimes Pics of a great day are in order. Son #2, his girlfriend, and I went on a search for yellow Perch this afternoon. A single Perch was all-- but stud of a ring Perch it was. Well the Perches weren't biting, so it was time to switch game plans--- I remembered the river just well enough from the ole Bass fishing days to recall a crappie spot or two. We kept a dozen and a half for dinner ( 8 at the house this evening) and released another 2 dozen or so--- nice big ole slab crappies they were.
You don't always need blue water and 80-Wides to have a great day fishing
