Too much to ask?

Is there a reason to keep your location a secret???

I see lots of posts saying they went out and did this or that, caught or missed whatever, and a lot of replies say good report "so-and-so" or some other familiarity. No doubt a lot of posters here know each other, but I, for one, don't know everybody, and I find myself wondering just where are they talking about?!

Would it be too much to ask that your profile show your location, or home port?

I'm just sayin'...!

Yes, please. I go throught the threads clicking "new posts" and when it's a fishing report and the member didn't select the state, I select it so the report is displayed in other sections of SportFishermen.com and other sites in the network we run (giving more exposure to the fishing report and hopefully more members posting comments). Sometimes I find the location reading the report, but some people don't even mention a canyon, fishing spot, city or state.

Good point Bisquit. It would be nice if everyone had their location in their profile but I guess some people just want to stay anonomous.
