Got invited by a customer to fish with him over the weekend at Toledo Bend. I wondered why this place was so popular by many of the freshwater community. I found out why and had a great time while I was there. Here are a few pics from the adventure.

cold steve. good catching in the cold weekend we had. two of the coldest times in my life were in the same week in 1976. fished the Top Six tournament on the Bend. Had to break ice to launch the boat and pour hot water on the steering cable to turn the wheel.

Flew to Chicago with my parents two days later and it was 40 below with the wind chill. i should have brought my snowmoblie suit i used fishing!
