Box I thought you might go off like a frog in a sock when I posted this.

You are right - you cant possibly soak a leader in a wipe.

I am certainly not questioning your techniques or your infinitely superior knowledge and sport fishing experience.

Just curious about the results of Johns soaking test where he said at post # 34

OK guys, I'll do it. Gonna put my chemist-fisherman hat on and do a little experiment.

I'll grab some 50lb Fluorocarbon leader material (Seaguar of course) and soak it in Isopropyl Alcohol overnight. I'll test it against the same line using a Manley Brass drag scale.

Curious to see if I see any difference. Again, this will be an overnight soaking, not a mere wipe.
