I know you guys are dying to hear something so I'll fill you in a little bit
1st off let me say the weather was great and I learned many new tricks of the trade in implement on my boat. Capt. Mike was great and his boat is a sweet rig. (Especially the SAT T.V. station that was on when we got there at 5am.) Box and the guys were super knowledgeable and super nice. THe fishing was fairly slow, no tuna's to be found. If we had caught all the fish we missed it would have been a stellar day. We had numerous missed short strikes, lines cut by hoo's, mainlines breaking on planer rods, scattered grass covering the baits tough day of fishing to say the least. We ran along beautiful rips all day from 200-600ft with bait jumping eveywhere, one rip had enough boards to build a house. Just no fish to be pulled off those rips. Finally tally just one hoo, dolpin and an albacore.
As far as the carnage goes I'm afraid it has not started yet(Not talking about fishing) I'm sure Box or somebody else will fill ya'll in when he gets back today, I don't feel it is my place to put that info out there but trust me there are going to be some fireworks to come.![]()
