    THREE ON!!!!!!

THE DEEP RUBBERBAND BAIT JUST POPPED!!! HOLEY CRAPOLA!!! OH MY GOD .....NOW THE SHALLOW RUBBERBAND BAIT ALSO POPPED! AND NOW THE LEFT LONG RIGGER BAIT IS GOING OUT OF HERE LIKE NO TOMORROW!

I CLIMBED IN MY TRUCK THIS MORNING WITH A LIGHT FROSTY GLAZE ON DA GLASS.....YOU DON'T SEE THAT VERY OFTEN IN THE SOUTHERN OUTER BANX....THE TEMP ON THE DASH SAID 34 DEGREES...NOAA SAID IT WAS 10 OUT OF THE NW....IT WAS A GOOD DAY FOR HUNTING....HUNTING DEM GIANT BLUEFINNERS

ARRIVED AT THE BOAT AROUND 4:30....BRIAN ALREADY HAD THE BAITS RIGGED FOR THE DAY....4 BEAUTIFUL PONIES WITH SHARP HOOKS ATTACHED & LIE COILED UP ON OUR BFT WORK STATION.....ALL I HAD TO DO WAS THROW A COUPLE DOCKS LINES OFF AND AWAY WE GO....TWASFIRST DAY OF GIANT HUNTING FOR US ON THE RUN-OFF.

WE JOGGED 10 MILES OR SO WITH BRIAN LOOKING FOR A COLOR CHANGE BY THE CAST OFF BEAM FROM THE SPREADER LIGHTS....SHE WAS STILL DARK THIRTY OUTSIDE WITH ONLY THE TAIL END OF A LAST QUARTER MOON VISIBLE WITH A SHINING VENUS STILL VISIBLE BELOW THE CRESCENT

THE CHILL IN THE AIR FELT GOOD....NOT TOO COLD...NOT TOO WARM....HE FINALLY THROTTLED HER BACK AND THE 4 ROD SPREAD WAS SET..........MAN THAT WENT VERY SMOOTH I THOUGHT SINCE WE HAD NOT DONE THIS ROUTINE SINCE LAST JANUARY

THE HORIZON WAS JUST STARTING TO PINK-UP WITH LIGHT AND I NOTICED 5 GANNETS WAGON WHEELING IT HIGH IN THE SKY....APPARENTLY THEY WERE JUNVENILLES FOR THEY SPORTED SMOKEY BLACK HULL FEATHERS .....

KAPOWWW!!! HOLEY SHITOLA THE DEEP BAND JUST BROKE AND WE ARE ON!! I RAN TO THE ROD.....THEN THE SHALLOW BAND BREAKS....MY GOSH TWO ON!!! NO THREE!!! THE LEFT LONG IS GOING OUT OF HERE LIKE A 16 YR OLD BURNING RUBBER LEAVING WALMART PARKING LOT & TALKING ON THE CELL PHONE AT THE SAME TIME!

MY GOD WE GOT IT GOING ON NOW.....BUT WAIT....IF THREE RODS GOING OFF IN THREE DIFFERENT DIRECTIONS AIN'T ENOUGH TO DEAL WITH NOW THE HIGH WATER ALARM IS BLARRING OUT...I MEAN BLARRING LOUD TOO!! PURE PANDOMONIUM NOW PEOPLE!! DO WE FIGHT THE FISH OR DO WE FIND OUT WHY THE HIGH WATER FOG HORN POLICE SIREN IS GOING OFF? OH YES I WAS TORN BETWEEN THE TWO SITUATIONS ALRIGHT.....BUT I KNEW WHAT I SHOULD DO.....SO.........

"HONEY.....PLEASE SHUT THE ALARM OFF........HONEY....WAKE UP...PLEASE SHUT THE CLOCK OFF" she moaned.

"THE HIGH WATER ALARM?" I asked back....

"NOOOO SILLY .....THE ALARM CLOCK BESIDE YOUR HEAD."

I SLAMMED THE SNOOZE BUTTON AND ROLLED OVER....WOW I THOUGHT....WHAT A DREAMLAND THAT WAS

MAYBE THEY WILL CHEW TODAY....I DRESSED AND WAS OUT THE DOOR 9 MINUTES LATER.

    "MORNING CAPITANO...." I SAID

"MORNING BRO.....LET'S GO KILL ONE"....BRIAN REPLIED

IT'S GOOD TO BE BACK FISHING AGAIN.....

Do any good today? Heard of a couple confirmed on the deck, I think Merry Marlin and several others broke fish off. Somebody said they lost a 90"+ at boat side. Two fish I heard boated were around 80 and 90 I think it was? I didn't get a sniff except catching two birds, one on the deep bait! Lots of bait, lots of dolphins, lots of birds where I was, a couple marks on the Furuno that looked like tuners but no love for us. Maybe next trip! That dredge had me confused as hell for a couple minutes this morning and my radar kicked the bucket, adding to confusion.

Anyone up for a pool? On who catches the first BFT between these two fine charter operations in the Morehead/Beaufort area?....Im' In'..........

    Runoff - Brian/WahooN'Box
    VS
    BlueFin - Mike/Blake

Let Admin work out the details.........of how and the payout.

Im in for $50.00 or 5 Hoo Machines of any color choice....

Oh, and if this isn't the right venue then chime in with a better way, all in good fun and sportsmanship.......

Caveat: We at CanyonGear support both of these fine charter operations, gladly.

Why you ask?..because they are good people and that my friends, is ALL that matters to ME.
