YESSIR.....A PURE LEGEND HAS LEFT US AND I WILL NEVER SET ANOTHER PLOW BLADE DOWN WITHOUT THINKING ABOUT THE FRANCO FAMILY

I DEDICATE NEXT WEEKS WAHOO CHALLENGE TO THE FRANCO FAMILY.....GOD BLESS THEM AND MAY MR FRANCO WATCH THE ACTION FROM ABOVE

Sorry to hear about him marty. The man created a fishing tool of epic proportions. My prayers go out to everyone else that Marty mentioned as well.

Thoughts and prayers with the Francos


I spoke to Fred today by e-mail he is still on his game and has a new product that he will be releasing soon

Thank You Marty and everyone else for the thoughts. My wife had a bi-lateral hip replacement(double hip) 2 weeks ago and now has to learn how to walk all over again. She will be out of commission for approx 3 months. Before her operation, she was in so much pain to just walk and couldn't do too much else. She almost had no choice except to have the operation. So far, her original pain is gone. She still has alot of pain from the surgery, but it too shall pass. She keeps telling me that she doesn't regret it and is glad that it is over.

I haven't been online and posting much due to having to help her and between working and visiting her in the hospital, but now since she is home, I can get back to my second family again.
I will be getting a late start fishing this year, but it had to be done and I'm happy for her.

I'll keep everyone else in my thoughts and prayers too.

My Pop's had a liver transplant two years ago this month...well, the Hep-C in his blood destroyed the new liver (the transplant itself was a success) so he is in full liver failure again. He is back on the list to receive another liver so hopefully that will happen some time over the next 6 months. It is hard hoping for an organ because you know someone else will have to pass for this to happen but it also makes you think about being a donor and what it could mean to others...He took treatment for the Hep-C and has managed to rid his body of it so that is good news...

So, in a nutshell my Dad is on the downslope right now and he'll need some help. I'm glad I was able to do some fishing with him this past Summer and my hope is that we'll be able to do so again.

I know you all pray for the troops over seas, please keep it up. We lost 2 kids on our convoy last week, both younger than my son. We stopped at a police station in down town Kirkuk and a dumptruck VBIED (Vehicle Born IED) went off next to our convoy. The coward that drove it up killed 2 of my guys, wounded 2 others, killed 14 Iraqi Police and wounded 180 civilians.
These kids are busting their asses and are really making a difference in my area. I havent run into one of our guys yet that has said they didnt agree with what we're doing here.
Everyone be safe out on the big blue, thank god everyday you're in the U.S. of A.
