    Thoughts and prayers

    Would just like to let some of you all know that my grandmother passed away yesterday, I k now some of you knew what all has been going on with my family and how much I appreciate your thoughts and prayers. I was my mother's mom. My mother recently had hip replacement and dad is still unable to wear his prost leg so is still in a wheelchair. It had been a trying few months and with this yesterday it is really tough on my mom. Her brothers and sister are here but mom can just barely get around since she is in rehad for her hip not to mention dad feels like he can not be there for her. WOW it definatly has been a trying time but we are getting much better. My grandmother is in a much better place now. We are just waiting on the family to come in town. I will keep all of u in my thoughts and prayers, u have no idea what it means to know we have a web community like we have here at SF.com Thanks to u all!!

    How long ago did your mom have her hip replaced?? My wife had both hips replaced 3.5 weeks ago and can walk around without a cane or walker. It is amazing how well she can walk this soon after surgery. Hope your mom rehabs quickly!
