I normaly don't post these kind of post, but if you all don't could you keep my wife in your thoughts and prayers tomorrow.
See has been having back problems for a while and we had an MRI today and the plan was to see the Doc on 4 Aug. However the pain has been killing her. Well after the MRI the radioligist read it and said holly crap, you need to see a nerosurgen today. So off we go the radioligist greesed the skids for us. The nero looks at me wife and goes to take a quick look at the MRI and comes back and says we are doing sugery tomorrow.
He said if all goes well she stands a good fair to good chance to be pain free and get rid of her numbness about 65% based on the damage to her disks, the normal full recovery is 90%.
It is tuff to see her in pain she is still really young at 35.
Anyway if you don't mind keep her in your thoughts tomorrow, and hope for a full recovery.
Will do Jeff, my dad has had some back problems, and I know how intense the pain can be. I hope all goes well and she makes a full and speedy recovery.
Hey ponce, hope she makes out well.I have been down that same road about 5 yrs ago when I was 28.Dont know the extent of her problem but I had 2 severely herniated discs that were very near rupturing.I was'nt really keen on the idea of surgery but after 10 months of intolerable pain I did it and have no regrets whatsoever.I had my surgery at 3 p.m. and was walking at midnight and on my way home at noon the next day.Still acts up once in a while but I am so glad I had it done.I truly hope she gets the same result!!!

You Got It,
Ponce hope she makes out OK. I've got 4 level's that are pretty much shot. Went through surgery 4 year's ago after better than 25 year's of contstant pain. Do what the Doc say's and by all mean's stay with the physical therapy. Exercise is the key as soon as she is able. Frank
