So I am supposed to fish for Drum and Tarpon in Oriental next weekend and am staying in Beaufort. I am a bit nervous about this storm. I think Wahoonbox used to be a meteorologist so I figured this would be a good place to get thoughts.

I was hoping to get a second shoot in for the Calendar, but no such luck!!!

As of 3PM, storm is tracking to the north, not north west. Earl is making the turn off shore. Frying Pan Shoals bouy is reporting 33kt. winds 12.5 foot seas, 17 sec. apart. Winds are down to 125 mph now.

All forcast models have moved it off of the coast of Hatteras and some show it thking a hard right from there.
