Politcians have learned something that the rest of us should learn. They have learned how to get over little problems, insults and things that are said in anger or for business purposes. The only other group that seems to be able to do this is the Mafia- "It's not personal, it's only business"

I think some find it hard to accept or understand what Eppe said--- not that it is right or wrong-- but many professions engage in such professional bantering such that the players understand there is nothing personal involved. There is alot of wisdom in Eppe's suggestion.

What I have found inspiring thus far is McCain's ability to remain a gentleman in the public eye regarding his oppponents and choose his words wisely. Indeed, this is a rare gift and IMO shows exceptional leadership qualities.

Who knows what verbal mudslinging will transpire between now and November, but if McCain can maintain this demeanor, I believe he will attract alot of moderate, yet otherwise pro-democrat votes.

We have all seen alot worse negativity in other elections than that from this Democratic nomination competition--- who knows if either candidate will abandon their media provided mud pile for a shit slinging bucket.
