    THANKS crappiekrazy!!!!!

    There are some mighty fine people on this board. Most of the folks here are willing to help you out if you ask and crappiekrazy is certainly in that fine group. I asked for help with the crappies and Boyce did everything but bait our hook. Not only did he share his technique, he called me to tell me the bite was on. Kay and I hit lake on a beautiful Easter Sunday right at the crack of 9:30. The bite was steady and by 12:00 noon when the trolling motor battery died, we had enough fat crappies to feed us several times. I cleaned 15 and we threw back at least that many along with few catfish and big fat pike that Kay had fun with. Not sure how big they get here but it was the biggest I have seen in NC. Kay said that if I had helped fill the cooler, we could have had a much better showing. Seems that she had the "best spot in the boat AGAIN! Yall know how luck is! Hopefully Boyce can jump on our boat for some salty fishing. He seems to have the sweet water deal covered.

    Thanks for the kind words Box. I can't wait to get back in there come May. I don't know why someone who can get all the mahi, wahoo and tuna they could eat would want some crappie, but if you want some brother, then crappie you shall have!
