THANK YOU Nick & Nick!

I got a phone call the other day from my hook & line Brother Nick...The weather was looking good for Thursday and I was invited to join him on the Slip Slidin to target some Orange fish! When I checked with the boss she reminded me that Friday was our anniversary.............so Thursday was good to GO!
We headed out on the Slip Slidin at 10:00 and Nick had us half way to Georgia in no time.
A few samplings from the bottom came up as the N & N Team worked hard and moved us around to many different spots looking for that elusive Hog....







The weather was fabulous and by the end of the afternoon my week was made. Just being with two good friends on the water was enough. Slip insisted on running from spot to spot. He had come with a plan and he was going to try everything from A to Z....
He finally got to X and after I had kind of blanked out the idea of seeing my first Orange fish he brought one up!!!!!
Geez, what a site and that motivated us to insist a little more....
Bang!!! I got my FIRST, now my YEAR was made. I don't usually give high fives but they flew around that boat...



A few minutes later we had a double.... Wow! Were we excited!!



We headed back as an orange moon rose on the dark horizon. A long run home with plenty to meditate about...
Life is Good indeed!

I had a feeling some orange fish were dying yesterday! Glad you got your first one...I'm sure it won't be the last! Nice grade of hogs as well---those things can do some pulling, can't they?

Hey man, you need to change the boat name from "Slip Slidin" to "Hog Pen"!

Now that you guys are dialed in on this fishery, try those "inshore ledge" numbers for a 21.7 plus pounder, he's there!
