I would like to publically thank marine artist Vinnie Myers. About a month ago I called Vinnie and told him about our little tournament. I asked if I could pick out some prints from his collection and offer them as trophies for the tournament. He said sure no problem. I picked them out and placed the order. Well about a week later he calls me (remember, he doesn't know me from adam) and says that he has an idea. instead of picking from his stock of existing prints - he would like to do original works of art and have the prints specially made for our tournament. I was floored by his kind gesture. Well - I got the call yesterday that the prints were completed and I could come pick them out.

Well the stakes have been raised in the father/kid tournament when the kids see the prints they are gonna flat out stand in awe of the talent that Vinnie has drawn for us. Thank You very much Vinnie. You surely didn't have to do that. I greatly appreciate it. If I have time today I will post the pictures of his art work but everyone should go to his site and check out his work.
