    Texas Two Step

    I haven't figured out where to put things at this site. Capt micheal B. said to check out this forum. so I'll just post it here.

    We had a little get together at my wife's (libby) sister's (kellie) house in Houston. I wined about it being opening of dove season but went because my Brother in law(one of 8) Phillip is a stand up guy and he is a rabid LSU fan, as I am. He also has a Tiki Bar by his pool .

    Well enough of that. to make a long weekend and story short. My neice's husband, Spence is a fisherman and has a boat. nice one at that, 22' Majek. He, I and my nephew, Sam, went down to the mouth of the Brazzos river. we surf fished and did pretty good with artificals. I had a grand old time seeing how i didn't have to do anything put show up with 3 rods and my tackle box

    I'm always up for a trip. but the next 5 to 6 weekends are crazy. my youngest son, who is a baseball phenom, is on a s team that plays in a scout league. They play the next 6 sundays at different colleges in the state. there are a couple of work days at the deer lease, then opening of bow season.........how about next spring. If you want a night trip for specks that starts getting good around July 4th....

    i need to win the lottery or something. there are not enough weekends in my life.
