    Targetting Giants

What do YOU do?Kites?Chunking?Downriggers? Most of the guys in Rhody who got 'em this year employed a kite with a live bluefish(to my knowledge).I'm wondering what everyone's doing?

    depends on what they're eating

if they want bluefish, its kites
if they want herring, its balloons
if they want a trolled bait, its planers

you need to be able to change quickly and match their primary food source to stay successful.

Im also new to the game but ill give my two cents. It seems that the guys out of MHC and the surronding areas use ballyhoo, naked and skirted, a lot of times running them off of planers. Up here in the northeast, to me it seems like we mostly troll spreader bars or fly kites. I could be wrong, but this is just my perception. Just hang out here and listen to what everyone says, you will catch on after awhile.
