SWELL RIDER..MHC STREAM REPORT!!

With as SLOW as the BFT fishing has been we took advantage of the great forcast and headed to the break for alittle wahoo fishing..Hit the stream at first light and it didn't take long before the planer rod went singing, 40# of drag was nothing for this big hoo..a couple of good runs before he met the steel and a nice 50# hoo was in the box..On our next pass on the bait it was game on again with yet another bigger wahoo in the 50# plus class..Fished another couple hours breaking 2 more hoos off on the mono rigs and messing with the Albies, not bad for a couple hours of fishing..Could'nt go fishing without dropping to the bottom so we ran inshore to a spot that I know was holding fish, one short drift because I didn't want to mess with the hook yielded 30 big keeper BSB, 2 of the largest American Reds I ever caught in NC and 3 Gags well over 20#..All in All a great day on the water, waiting for the pictures of the hoos will post them when I get them..

Right on Ken. I've been dying to get out there and get some hoos, my freezer is a little low. They are killing some real slobs now. Pretty work my friend.
