    Supporting a worthy cause...

Hey gang thought I would put this out there for those that would like to support a very worthy cause...my wifes best friend has been fighting diabetes for most of her life and has a team set up to walk in the "Walk to Cure Diabetes" put on by the "Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation International" ( http://www.walk.jdrf.org/ )...the team is currently looking for sponsors and individual donations to reach their team goal of $5000 for this event...they fell quite a bit short of their goal last year and I have offered my support to try and help them get there this time...

    Sponsors...
there are two levels of sponsorship...Diamond ($100) and Platinum ($50)...the Diamond level will have your company logo on the shirts under "Diamond Sponsors"...as for the logo...you will need to send me the file in the appropriate format based on what the shirt company wants...the Platinum level will have just the company name under "Platinum Sponsors"...this may or may not be tax deductible under your company's "advertising expenses"...you will need to determine that...the sponsor money collected will go to cover the cost of having the shirts printed and whatever is left will go towards the teams goal of $5000...

    Individuals...
people that just want to donate to the walk can do so under this link... https://walk.jdrf.org/index.cfm?fuse...d=87316525&sr= ...thats a direct link to my "Walk Donations" page...all donations made this way are tax dedutible...there is alot of information on diabetes that can be accessed by clicking the tabs at the top of my donations page...if nothing else please do a little research...

I hope everyone can find the time to help us make our goals this year...if you have any questions feel free to PM me and I will get back to you as soon as I can...here's a little video my wife put together...

Thanks Marty...PM me your address and I'll get that autograph in the mail ...gonna get him an agent once we move to the beach...

Guys one clarification...individuals that want to donate can donate any amount...if you only want to donate $1 heck even 50 cents...thats 50 cents more than they had...

I'll even make a deal with you guys...if I get enough people from SF.com to donate (individual donations from SF.com total $100) I'll put the SF.com logo under the Diamond sponsers (with the Admins approval)...at the bottom of the donations page there is a spot for comments...just type in Sportfisherman.com...I'll PM Jer now to see if thats ok...

I have to get the shirts ordered in a couple weeks so they will be there on time...
