Readers of this forum are among the lucky ones: we have the option to choose to eat only fish we have caught ourselves. I would not eat farm-raised fish, no matter what the country of origin.

Good Luck! In 10 years everyone is going to be eating farm raised only unless you go out and poach (not the cooking technique) one yourself, eat it undercover of darkness, grind the bones and dispose of it in your fire pit. If fire pits are still leagal that is.

Funny how this stuff comes full circle. 10 years ago 80% of the shrimp consumed in These United States were of the domestic variety. Nowaday it's flipped 180* and the majority of shrimp consumed are imported farm raised. I guess it just depends on what the cause of the day is.

UN FING BELIEVEABLE!!! So unnecessary. We have all of the fish we would ever need ... right here under our feet ... and we cant sell / eat them because of our outrageous government and foreign dependency. Insane!

There ya go. I quit buying seafood when I walked into a "seafood" store and everything they had was previously frozen. If I wanted frozen seafood I'd go to the supermarket. Only eat fresh. Or vauum packed myself. Anybody know where you can get it fresh in lower delaware ? Other than catchin it yourself or from a buddy that just hit the dock ?

That's an old piece of bull/pack of lies funded by the Catfish Farmers lobby in Alabama-they own those bureaucrats.
