For the money and lens quality, Calcutta glasses are as good as you will find.

The best glasses in the world aren't worth a crap if they don't come with a warranty. If they are $130 and come with a so called Lifetime Warranty, then they should be warrantied.

If they don't have a warranty, then charge 29.99 for them and move on.

You shouldn't have to be the Admin of a website (no offense John ) to get service when you fairly and honestly deserve it.

Have always been a fan of costas and recently had a pair of 580 triple tails with the blue mirror lense. I really liked those but they aren't cheap either. Two weeks later they became my first pair of glasses ever in the drink...go figure. I was given a pair of black lense maui jims and really haven't been disappointed with those yet either.

What's important: "Seeing" ability obviously, followed by fit and weight. I've had the MJ Blades, Costa Fathoms/Deep Blue/Tripple Tail with the mirror-blue lenses, Serengetti "Drivers", all were good glasses, with the Costa Deeps being the best... I've gone through 3 pairs of those. I'm always a bit disappointed by the cost of repairs with the Costa "warranty".

Right now, I'm wearing Calcutta mirror blue lenses. They're cheap, and have held up well. My only complaint is the quality of the optics... I get a little distortion of color in the bottom part of the lens.

im an electric visual kinda gal - glass polarized is all i wear now...stylish and great coverage....a little pricey - but worth it in my opinion. i have two pairs per style - and i only wear certain ones for fishing - They just put out a new fishing specific - but i wouldnt be caught dead in them (the style is off incredibly) i normally wear either the maxwells or the bsg.....

The BassPro, plastic, polarized ones with the inset reading glasses bifocal. Perfect. Have been on this pair for two years, and have a spare. $ 30. And being cheap, of course, you cannot lose them. Expensive sunglasses last a month, at most.

These let me see the horizon just fine, the polarizing is good, and the little clear reading glass window in the bottom means I can also read the GPS, books, charts, fine print, instructions..(yes some males read instructions. Doesn't mean we follow them)...

I think Sea Strikers are great glasses for the price.

I wear Maui Jim's Ho'okipa b/c they're lightweight and comfortable, and I can get them at cost.

Costa triple-tail, tortoise shell with Green mirrored lenses are my number ones. I also have a pair of black polarized Hobies that must be at least 15 years old that I use as beaters. They are both great but the Costas are in a league of their own
