Stop, drop and roll...were going mobile!

So there I am reading reports of guys lighting it up on the delaware bay...wishing I was fishing and my phone rings....the conversation goes like this....whats the number to the bait shop....we have to see if they have fresh bait.....me...the bite is beat out front where are you planning on fishing?....we are yanking the boat and trailring it to cape may...are you in?......me ...is the pope catholic?....your dam right I am in!......First call 12:30 pm on tuesday.....second call on conformation on the bait....2 10 pm......I clock out 2:15 pm and head home to pack my gear. We were racing the sun to get down and pull the boat.....we got behind a bmw that was hauling some serious azz and he walked away from us lol.

We hit the ramp at daylight, ran out and got set up.....a skate and croaker bites to begin with....our buddy 500 yards away had 2 in the boat so we made a move,,,we had 2 bites and came tight with one...biggest bass yet on the dottie IV at 45" and 35#........but our boy not 200 yards away had4 over 40".....but we got one and that is a mission acomplished....me personally I was the only one to not get a single runoff.....I do indeed hate stripped bass lol...but I rigged all the lines si I was a part of the team....enjoy the pics.

If you look at the time stamps on pics 4 and 5...14 minutes from the slip to the trailer......you know it felt strange to put the boat on the trailer with nothing wrong with it for a change....looks like wednesday is going to be the day again and if it is we will be mobile again.
