Stolen Reels in Wilmington Update

Just talked to my detective and they arrested the POS who stole my stuff and he gave up were the rest of my reels were pawned.The detective went to recover my stuff and they already sold it.Now get this the pawn shop were this stuff was at was one of the first ones i stopped at to give my info and they told me they didn't have anything that nice,the next day my father goes to the same pawn shop talks to the manager gives a description of the items and even gives the last name of the kid.The manager even went in the back and"LOOKED TO SEE" and said the same thing we don't have anything that nice.This was on Oct.7-8 my stuff was stolen on the 4th and sold at there store on the 12th,so they had my stuff the whole time and lied to me.I would of gladly paid them so they would not lose their ass but now i want everyone to know that


COLLEGE ROAD PAWN in Wilmington NC sells stolen shit that they knew was stolen.

If by chance anyone bought or knows someone who got a great deal on 3 Shimano Calcuttas 400,250 and a 100 plus 2 TLD 15'S i will repay them in order to recover my stuff.This happened on Sunday October12.

Same exact thing happened to me with my wifes jewelry... Scumbag went to the local shit hole. I went in told the owner I know the drill and if hes got my stuff I'll buy it back. No siree he hadn't seen anything like it... Told police same thing... Couple months later I did a drive by and it was in his case.Ticket that was with the stuff was same day it was stolen from me. The guy who owns the place is a retired sherrif for cryin out loud!

A couple heirloom pieces we never got back. That shit hurts... A ring from great great granny passed down and the trail ends here... I shed no tears when I heard somebody burned the shop owners car right in their parking lot...

I had some golf clubs stolen several years ago so I went by all the pawn shops to let them know and give them a description. Couple of weeks later I drove by and saw an old station wagen pulling out from a pawn shop. when i pulled up behind it at a stoplight i noticed what appeared to be my clubs in the back so I got out and started walking up to the car. They ran the red light and by the time I could get across the intersection they were gone. I went back and asked the guy at the pawn shop who they were and of course he did not know but he knew they were my clubs they were trying to hock so he would not take them. What a nice guy. POS

Yeah Glenn thats the one.DEEP C i only lost reels but to have them lie about your Grandma's stuff thats just a sad reminder of what people are willing to do for a couple of bucks.Karmas a ***** and i hope my few reels cost them alot more in the long run.

Receiving stolen property in this amount should be close to a felony I would think. If not, its probably close.

Unfortunatly i have no recourse as of yet against the pawn shop because its basically my word against their lies.The kid who stole the reels has had this added to his charges and yes it is a felony.As for telling the detectives yes i did and the Wilmington Police department has been great, i will be calling them back since i made a visit to the shop this evening and the dipshit manager admitted talking to my dad.It just comes down to dealing with scumbags who deal with scumbags.As for all the other pawn shops in town like Pawn USA and Jims they were very helpful and forthcoming with info to the police and even helping me.
To add to this if you live in Wilmington and have had surfing,bicycles and fishing gear stolen and have made a report you might want to inquire because it looks like this kid stole alot of those types of items and might be charged with more stuff.
