Capt Joe is very helpful. After about a 10 year layoff from saltwater fishing and just buying my first boat. A 24 CC, he and I beleave it is his son have been very helpful and freindly every time I've stopped in.

Thanks for the comments. Matt the young man you mentioned just works for me and is not my son. His dad is Pete Zook that runs the Energizer charter boat out of MHC.

This will give you an idea of what our lures and rigs are. I really need to update the pictures and descriptions, since most of our popular colors are not displayed on the site. If you would like some pictures of whats hot, just give me your e-mail address and I will send you some pictures. What the tuna fishermen are using right now are our 3 oz. heads. The most productive right now happen to be white heads, red heads and pink heads tied with all crystal hair and pearl mylar. The 3 oz. heads help the baits track good in the water. the crystal hair lights up in the water and really lights up the ballyhoo. another very productive lure is our "Lantern" series of lures. Our "Lanterns" in the 1/2 oz. size are very productive on yellowfin tuna, sailfish, dolphin and white marlin. These lures are tied with the crystal hair and different color mylar flash over a octopus skirt. Very deadly on yellowfin. Our 3 oz. "lanterns', especially the Purple lantern is deadly on wahoo either pulled 0n a planer or on a top line. Our newest "Lantern" is tied on a black 3 oz. head with black hair and orange mylar with a black and orange octopus skirt. The "Jack-O-Lantern" as I call it is taking more than its fair share of big wahoo as well. Our original "Fish Finder Skirts" are skirts tied on 1/4 and 1/2 oz. heads in a large variety of colors and sparsely tied in a variety of colors of hair and a variety of mylars for all pelagic species. Check em' out! I ship skirts everywhere.
