    I Dunno

It's like when you take your 350 chevy motor to the speed shop (they don't really have speed shops down here in the south but everybody up north calls them that) They "blueprint it" and build it to a set of specs or blueprints. So the drag shop set me up with a 65lb Shimano dragster I guess.

Sounds cool, my questions are who does it and how much is it?

Marty I feel like after Saturday I'm no longer qualified to give advice. Hell I'm starting to wonder what and hell am I doing out there at all. You know the feeling. Until I put some meat on the dock I'll defer to the Big Dog.

Dennis Braid gave me the name of a guy that will upgrade the drag systems in Tiagra 50W and 80W, he does it to his when he is fighting stand up. I had called him for advice on a harness last year and low and behold Dennis himself picked up the phone. I will see if I still have the guys name and address.

I would think that any reel shop could do it. The stronger spring washers cost about $6 The springs are called Belleville springs or cone washers. In the pic Shimano has them stacked Based to base and then tip to tip. The cool thing about Bellevilles is that if you stack two together back to back the force doubles.

I was hoping someone would give us BFT newbie's a run down on basic bait, hook size, any special rigging tips for BFT.
    How about it?

When you where talking about upgrading your reels with Dennis he most likely gave you the name Cal Sheet. Cal is out of Cali and does a lot of blueprinting and upgrades for the guys that run on the long range boats for tuna. The big deal with that is they don’t want to hold a large reel all day while live lining sardines and other bait for cows.
