Is Marty both sides? In my eyes yes so is every charter boat in America.

But that makes me both sides as well since i have a charter head boat permit. Would I commercial blue fin to feed my family hell yes. Would i long line or drag or shrimp heck ya if it was feeding my family then yes i would. Most who do commercial fish were brought up commercial fishing. I was not so I could never see myself doing it to feed us. Sadly in my eyes commercial fishing is a dieing breed.
As said in DC 85 percent of us seafood is imported.

Something that blew me away was American shrimpers in Venice LA pretty much have no choice to sell gulf shrimp to the Vietnamese for low low money and they make dog food with it and import farm raised shrimp. Fair ?? save our fishermen I don't think our commercial fleet is our problem as our government allows our money to leave this country in tons of industries.

I also believe that once sport fishing boats have accidents like ending up inside of a commercial Chinese tuna pens its sad to say but our fish are getting towed away and our government lets it happen.
Getting paid to catch stock is commercial.
Thats why we get a head boat charter boat permit.

But I do believe Marty's true heart is for rec fishermen.

Hand and hand commercial charter boats and rec fishing go together.
Way more then charter boats match commercial daggers since i have not been able to book trips to go long lining except with fish picker lol

Some times wording though makes it sound a lot worse then it is.

I think we work very hard to keep this a consumer site that you can speak on.

I didnt write that sentence, dougfishy did. He sent it to me in a pm. Marty loves to post pm's I thought I would simply post the pm I got from his relative. I also called him and told him he needs to learn how to articulate his thoughts. He pretty much repeated the samre thought. Sorry, I cant see myself standing beside a guy like this fighting for his rights. After all, I thought it was a pretty civil conversation yesterday until marty decided to come on board. The very same thread was in his world and NO one was responding to it. Jealously is a terrible thing.
