    STALKER OUTFITTERS BAITHEAD

    BOX,

I was reading some older posts and you talked about the Stalker Outfitter's Baithead, and using it with a circle hook. I have never used the Baithead before and was wondering how you would rig it with a circle hook and still have good hook up ratios. Also what fish do you target with the Baithead.

He is sitting in tree or in a blind right now in ohio.lol

you can ask whitey or pm him.. he works with stalker and he uses them alot.

they rig them with a barrel swivel in the front of the head and mono thru.. then they come into the ballyhoo and rig it.. put it through the head and put the circle hook in front of the baithead..

i know that what i would be doing. there is some stuff on these all over the site and also some videos of how to rig them..

they are used for whites, blues, tuna, whatever you really want to use them for.. or wherever you have to use the circles.. they are also kick azz with just a j hook rigged with hoo!!!

This is the way we have been rigging them.

We have been using them for white marlin and tuna but have caught alot of dolphin, wahoo and even blue marlin on them as bycatch. A few of our clients have also been using them in Florida for sailfish and have been doing very good with them.
