    Spring Break--Where to??

I realize my planning is a little late but I've got spring break on March 3 and don't know where to go. I'd really like yalls input so here are some guidelines on what I'm looking for....
1.) We'd like to go catch some billfish somewhere
2.) We do have a pretty limited budget so any price ranges yall can provide would be awesome
3.) Finally, if going out of the country is gonna be to expensive, we'd like to plan a fun hunt somewhere (big game or waterfowl preferably) so I'm open to those ideas as well.
HAVE AT IT---THANKS in advance guys

    That is classic.

I would think Islamorada or Key West could be a good place to do some trolling that time of year.

Well Key West is good recommendation and there are a lot of small Bed and Breakfasts just off the strip that are very reasonable priced. Just watch out for the "MEN ONLY" Establishments. I don't know what the boats would cost you though.
If you want to leave the country then I would suggest either Cancun or Costa Rica. Depending on how much partying you want to do. The boats in Cancun are probably going to be more expensive but the partying is crazy there!! and you may not make it to the boats. Quepos Costa Rica has a great downtown party area and the boats are under $1000 per day. Our boat is only $750. And Hotels and food is cheap there also. It all depends what is more important to you, to decide where to go. I've been to all three and all three were fun in there own way.

Try Islamorada for the Sailfish, they will still be around, I can set up the entire trip from hotel, boats, everything, just find a way there. I dont know where you are coming from but if you drive you can save on the rental thing, take a night or two down to Key west, Besides the sailfish, the bonefish will be showing up about that time as well. Please PM me and I can give you more info.

Bluewater, what do you think the bite will be like in Cancun that time?

Also, do you think Islamorada/keys area would produce more or the Bamahas?

I'll be coming from Raleigh so Florida or the Bahamas would make the most since if we could get decent shots on some sails... We will be looking to party pretty hard as well so Bahamas sounds enticing Ron The pirates cove tournament is sponsored by Bacardi so I know those folks can get it done. I would just have a hard time distinguishing quality charters over the not so quality ones in those places ...I'm already getting excited

I was thinking about the Keys or the Bahamas for spring break, but its lookin like the good ole eastern shore of Maryland, unless the boss changes his mind and wants to fish the Bacardi tournament. I'm hopin and prayin.
