    spot tail bass

BeagleMan and I got to try something a little different today. We hooked up with Captain Shrimpa so we could see what all there was to catching a spot tail bass. Seems it is not too bad. The bite was real good and we soon had a few fish in the box. Then we ran out of bait. Got more bait. Ran out of bait again. Then he took us on a pleasure cruise. The weather was near perfect and we all had a good time.

Spot tail bass. Gotta love that lowcountry name. Beaglewoman, I was looking at the 6th picture from the top and it appears yall had run aground when you look at the oyster shells sticking out of the water past the rod. If you were floating that boat must only draw a half an inch.

We were getting some bait when I took that pic that looked like we were aground. Just a camera trick I guess.

I'm looking forwards to my next trip back.

SC slot on redfish must be a lot smaller than the NC slot limit, those are some pretty ones there!!
