    Spot tail bass, that is what they are. Thats what I have always known them as, that is until people started calling them redfish.


    The slot here was something like fifteen to twenty four inches.

    Although "spottails" is a fairly unique SC term a whole bunch of us do call them reds or redfish. The Slot in SC is 15" to 23".
