South Brunswick Islands King Mackerel Tournament

Due to the date change, my charter for the tournament will not be able to fish. I am open on sunday if anyone is interested. The cost will be $850.00 plus entry fees. If interested, please contact me @ 910-842-8903, or e-mail me at captlyndon@holdenbeachsportfishingcharters.com

Good Luck Lyndon! I am making my decision tomorrow, already have my entry fee in but if the weather restricts me to the beach I am probably going to take the refund.

I don't blame you. Looking at it right now, I don't think it'll be bad at all, just a nice swell. I'm hoping to find another crew, but we'll see.

    Lyndon,

When did they change it to? I wasn't able to fish it this weekend but may since the date changed.

just pushed it one day from saturday to sunday. Only reason I'm fishing it is cause I want to see how high I can finish in the division standings and I didn't weigh my 14 pounder in the Jolly Mon. I think his entry fees are outrageous, and told him so. There's a reason he gets a hundred fewer boats than any other tourny.

His tournaments are pricey. He has some good prize drawings if you go to the awards. Last year there was the opportunity to win a 36 ft yellowfin but the odds were so remote nobody could win. I was hoping for a different weekend. I don't like fishing on Sunday cause it puts me home to late.

N2 are you fishing the US Open even though its not an ska tourney?

yeah the drawings are the only good thing about his tourny. I won a really nice marine bean bag one year. Friend one a raymarine electronics set last year. The Yellowfin is impossible to win.

I will be fishing the Open for the 4th time. Highest I have finished is 30th in my first one, next year lost a stud, last year fished right beside the winners and couldn't get a big one. Hoping this is the year
