We once had the same problem with those small Spro swivels. If you do use them, you need to use chafe tube. The 220lb are now the smallest we use.

Hmmm VERY interesting!! Now this statement has me thinking.....how many times did you figure it out the hard way before you learned of this ? How many curse words should i say or semi curse words lol

That day with the conditions we were in, I am not surprised at all that they popped line. Those waves had no backs or fronts, just steep on both sides. All the lines were jerked to the max. I will live that day for for ever and wish I could do this tomorrow...what a day for us all...
