I USE A 1.0 CRIMP TO ATTACH MY MONO BACKING TO MY BRAID/SPRO SWIVEL....I CHANGE THIS OUT VERY OFTEN BECAUSE OF DETERIORATION OF TERMINAL GEAR & KNOTS AFTER EXPOSURE....

I THEN FORM A SURGEONS END LOOP IN MY BRAID TO ATTACH MY SPRO SWIVEL TO UNITE THIS TO THE MONO BACKING.......

I take it the Surgeons End Loop is different then the Monkey's paw you use to attached the end of the braid to the bridle?

Also, is 400yds of 130 mono enough with the 200yds of 135yds battleline?

I just put new line on my Tiagra 80 planer reel. I take mine to the tackle shop and get it wet packed but I watch and tell them when to stop spooling. 300 yds of Ande 100 is perfect. I'm cheap (and poor) so I only put 100 yds of spectra on at a time.

400 YDS IS CORRECT.....I HAVE HAD BUT ONE FISH WHO COULD RIP OFF THAT MUCH BRAID FROM THE SNIPER

IF ONE RIPS OFF THAT MUCH.....STAND BY FOR RODAN HIMSELF
