Mr Rhodes I have looked everywhere and can't your videos to see how camera work should be done???? I wanted to let you know since you choose to downgrade MY fish if you think that was a 20 pound Wahoo you obviously have no room up your ass for the fish because your head appears to be in it. The 1 filet that I took was just shy of 20 pounds so try another guess or better yet just leave it alone.

The pumping of the line is a technique we use in the Bahamas...Works great on our high speed wire line outfits...Gets them Hoo's to strike again...Also, it's good to get grouper to strike again on the slow bottom troll.

Deckmates are taking a gamble with a gaffed Hoo so close to them ankles...Saw a fishermen last season get airlifted to the States bec. of them nasty teeth...He was wearing boots and all...I don't trust them boots....Then again, I'm fishing waters far far away from the nearest American hospital.

Anyhoo, great shots with the vid...Would love to fish/film up your way sometime...Currently, I'm reorganizing the biz and hiring massive amounts of help...Should have some free time next season.

Oh yeah, don't think for a second Box didn't chew us all new assholes for that situation

Not quite used to the Hoo's up here, we normally have to be wary of Bluefish up here, but then again, I've made out with girls that have scarier teeth than them

31 inch Bridle?

I've got everything built and am looking forward to a test run.

One quick question? Does your Bridle length remain 31 inches for both a #16 and #24 Old Salty?

I'm assuming it does. I hooked it up to a #16 and wanted to make sure my 31 inches wasn't to long.

Thanks

That is correct, 31" for the #16 and #24 Old Salty's.

The planners are the same dimension, just a bigger weight on the #24.

Forgive my ignorance fellas. It seems like planer rod fishing is like the PC world. Soon as you think you are in the know something new and more advanced comes out.

I watched the whole video and think i have a pretty good grasp on how the system works.

What is the difference between this and the old DFA setup?

I am definately going with the new setup but just wanted to see what the difference was.
