Slip Sliding fishing report, July 30 2008

lil' Biscuit has been away at the NC mountains for the past four weeks. He took a few casts with the fly rod at camp, but came home craving some salt water fishin' and eatin'. When Slip called about mid morning seeing if we wanted to go looking flounders, Lil' Biscuit got out of bed like a bullet!

Nice warm and breezy mid day and a promising bite. Jason was soon hooked up with a nice one:

The toads were out in droves. Could have made many Korean folk happy today!

Appropriately, since this the Slip Slidin boat, even a little gag got in on the action

Ran out of bait, just as the wind and sun were getting to be a bit much.
A good steady bite today. 10 fish (7 keepers) and a healthy dose of trash in 2 hours or so.

Thanks for taking us fishing brother Slip. The grease is heating up as I'm typing this!

    Cheers,
    SeaBiscuit

Very nice class of fish, boys---both flatties and toads. Making my mouth water thinking about some fresh flounder in the pan....and I'm stuck here in Chicago talking about walleye fishing .

Great to have lil biscuit aboard today. Glad to see him back and look forward to many more trips together before school starts back. The lil fella had to show the old men how it's done. Congratulations on a very nice flattie today lil biscuit. Had a great time as always fellas. Thank you. No complaints. Life is good. Slip.

Rock on Jason - those mountain fish are fun but just can't scratch the itch like the salty back yard boys. Hope the Harris Teeter is stocked up on Panko.
