Headed offshore today with Biscoto in search of some of them scaley critters. From the forecast, it looked like today would be the best day of the week with Hanna headed towards the southeastern seashore. On the way out, we enjoyed a pleasent ride offshore and sounded like a couple of guys who enjoyed eating fish more than catching them. We must have traded every way we like to prepare fish. Fried, ceviche, broiled, baked, steamed, you name it and I think it was covered. Well, there wouldn't be any cookin if there wouldn't be any catchin today. We did get lucky and caught a few. No great bites on any spot. We picked and scratched at em and put a few in the box.
A blind squirrel gets a nut every now and then.
A little facial for Holwachagot
A little box shot
Damn if Biscoto isn't gettin good at catchin them flyin critters with his bare hands.
Gotta admit, flyers are some pretty cool fish
We were wondering why we weren't gettin any bites on one of the spots that looked good and then Biscoto brought this toothy critter up from the bottom.
We ended up keeping 8 groupers with several keepers thrown back. We were hoping for some bigger ones in return but it didn't happen. Here is a dock shot.
And this is our official greeter when we get back. Lickwachagot.
Enjoyed it today as always Biscoto. No complaints. Life is good. Slip.
