I don't know how they rig for bugs, but seems like they catch nearly as many of thos as American reds... Truly incredible

Now if I didnt know any better I'd say that looks like a spearfishing report! Grouper, Hog's and a lobster? Great catch fella's. Good to see some colorful pic's after the last few weeks of dismal fishing.

Great report Slip. How far out were you wehn you caught the Lionfish? Is that Nicks blood on the fishbox lid with the triggers?

Wouldn't surprise me at all. My blood was all over the boat yesterday. Dang trigger bit the tip pf my right hand index finger and I am right handed (really more like both hands are left, but my right less so than the left one )
I had to choose between bleeding and cranking. Wash down works fine so cranking it was!

A very memorable day on the water on what originated as a practice run for the fall wahoo bite and the days of so much regulation (coming!) to where we have to find new species in order to be allowed to catch. Working on developing an appetite for file fish and possibly cornet fishes too!

Finger is good enough to skin a few triggers later today and life is good indeed! Thanks for taking me fishing brother Slip.
