Slip Slidin Report 8/19

Is there a tropical storm brewing in the lower 48? You'd never know it off the coast of North Cackalacky today! August has never felt better. Light Northeast this mornin on the way out with Worknot and calm seas. Made bait at the usual 10 mile area and worked our way offshore. First stop, first 5 minutes was total chaos. We drop anchor and as Worknot(Joe) is tying her off I drop and hook into a respectable puddinhead and he starts throwing up chunks on the surface. This entices a half dozen or so bailers. Lay the red on the deck and we start feeding the bailers. After all said and done, one red and 5 bailers within the first five minutes.

The anchor dragged so we reanchored and added a few more to the box.

Here is Worknot holding a nice red just right.

Dock shot. I believe one of the critters drank one of our Bud Lights.

Beautiful day to be on the water. We need many more like them. Enjoyed it today Joe. No complaints. Life is good. Slip.

some are dull, some have weird names,
and all are different colors....but
they all exist very nicely in the same box.

Hey Wound Up what's your schedule look like in November? Might have to visit you for some live baited wahoos? You do that right? I'll pay you with grouper filets if you'd like.

Nothing like a "Carolina" fire drill tossing Mahi's and Red's over the side! What a combination! Nice catch fellas, those are some "fat" Red's! August is shaping up to be a good month onboard the Slip Slidin!

Starting to sound like a broken record brother Slip! Very nice catch of solid puddinheads.
If the low pressure moves on up this way there may well be a strong bite in advance of it.
Ready to go again?
