    Slip Slidin Report 8/13

    Delayed leaving today and early coming home due to thunderstorms. Biscoto and I decided to make a run for it around mid day after waiting out the first storm that passed through our area. We worked our way off to 25 mile area with not much happenin there and another storm heading towards us according to the satellite weather. Decision was made to head further inshore in case we had to outrun the storm. On our way further inshore we came across a scratch of live bottom that was holding bait and some nice gaguses. Biscoto got to try out his new Riley Rod out on several. Nice little gag bite. Kept a couple and released several. Gave em a good battle for about half an hour and decided to head home before the thunder boomers got us. Enjoyed it Biscoto. No complaints. Life is good.
