Slip Slidin Report 7/22

Full day today. Headed out with Biscoto at the unusual time of 7:00ish a.m. Worked our way towards the Frying Pan Shoals where we were gonna look for a Hog Fish. No Hog but marked tons of bait all along the shoals and got our share and headed offshore, way offshore. We didn't come across any bottom that looked fishable before getting to some of Biscoto's offshore numbers. So we pulled the "Trigger" on his numbers.

Next stop was some more of Biscoto's offshore numbers that offered up numerous Scamps and a couple of nice Reds. Biscoto was the only one contributing to the fish box on this stop. He had a little score to settle from a couple of previous trips that we have taken. We worked our way back inshore lookin for a decent bite to round out a couple of limits and we were able to find it. Finished out a couple of limits at this stop and made one more stop where we added several nice Beeliners. Great, long day on the pond. Enjoyed it as always Biscoto. No complaints. Life is good. Slip.

I thought the NC legislature passed a law saying the two of you may not leave the dock until 11:00am in fear of the greek vacuum cleaners wiping out da bottom of everything with gills ?---

Nice catch fella's. Thats a nice haul on the triggers. Glad to see you made it out after all the crappy Wx we've had lately.
By the way how was the water clarity on the shoals? Could you see the bottom in 35'-45' of water?

I can't think of a more appropriate way to celebrate 1000 hours on the Slip Slidin boat. As we were headed out the inlet the hour meter turned 1000.
Thanks for taking me fishing brother Slip. Here's to a lot more thousand hours of good times and good fishing on the Slip Slidin!
