    slip slidin report 6/26

Headed out today with Biscoto and Worknot. Made bait at 10 miles and headed offshore where I left them biting the day before. On the way came across a little scratch that we stopped to investigate. Caught a couple of short gags and decided to move on. Got to the spot and they were still chewing. Pretty much nonstop action. We kept 10 fish and released numerous more. We decided to try to catch some bigger baits and look for some bigger fish to finish out the limit. We ended up catching another red offshore and then moved inshore to look for some more gags. We caught some short gags inshore but did not find what we were looking for. This was a nice gag caught offshore.

This is Biscoto in action with a little plug for SFC.

    A little dock shot.

Great day on the water with great friends. Enjoyed it as always fellas. No complaints. Life is good. Slip.

A good day it was. I needed that! Thank you brother Slip.
The bite on the "new" spot was nothing short of incredible. Could not get a bait to the bottom. Didn't have to. They'd come up off the bottom after it. Even the big gag did that! We probably had two dozen keeper fish on that spot alone. Releasing these groupers does not really guarantee their survival, so we stopped after one hour and moved on, just to give them a little break.
    Life is good indeed!
