Slip Slidin Report 5/27

Snuck out with Biscoto for a little while today. Boat had been at the boat hospital for a couple of weeks and was very glad to have her feelin better. Caught bait at 20 miles and stopped at a few scratches heading offshore. Very good bottom bite today. Limits came easily which is always nice. No real special critters today, just the usual suspects. We were seeing flyers at 20 miles today in 72.5 degree water. Mahis should be close behind. Here are a few pics.

As always excellent report. I plan to get out a couple of times this week and may make my first attempt at grouper. I'll have to call Biscuit for a quick lesson Pretty work guys.

Actually captain Lee it is neither the 22 nor the 27th today. It is the 21st! I know Nick's had a couple of beers. What's your excuse?

Good day today. Strange weather. Glassy and lumpy in the late morning, snotty W-SW in the afternoon. Groupers seem to be fresh off their mating rituals and hungry! Several reds had belly bruises, a sign that they have been making..... contact!

Much needed day on the water and, as always, a good one with my brother Slip. Thanks for taking me fishing bro!

Sorry about the date mix up. Got side tracked with new picture downloading situation and put the wrong date. A correction would be appreciated if anyone can do it. Hopefully this will take place on the 27th also. Keep hope alive!

Could Nick squared being getting soft in their old age..... a released gag? Just kidding fellas. Pretty work. I am growing to love the camo color on those gags. They seem to have a smirk on thier face as well. Cocky stubborn fish I guess. That is some pretty water behind you. Looks very fishy.
