    Slip Slidin Report 5/2

Biscoto and I headed out for a few hours today to see if any flatties were around. A little choppy but fairly comfortable. Stopped at ten miles and caught a livewell full of cigar minnows. We also fished in the same area. We ended up with a few keepers and a few throw backs. Also landed a couple of kings on the light line. Nice to see the critters are gettin a little closer. Summer must be near. Enjoyed it as always Biscoto. No complaints. Life is good. Slip. P.S. Almost forgot to mention that Biscoto landed the first oyster toad of the season. The games have begun. Sorry no pics of the oystero.

Now you've gotta catch a few more bugs to stuff the flounder with

I eat them fresh all the time. Give them a good sprinkle of seasoned salt. then coat the steak in mayo and put them on the grill. If any mayo is left after cooking(normally not) you just scrape it off. They eat oK. But with all the grouper these boys have, I bet they were donated to someone.

Great catch guys. Wish I could get a trip in... been close to a month since I had salt in my face. I am living vicariously through yalls posts.

Per the king... I ONLY ate them grilled after soaking them in my special sauce (mainly equal part ketsup and soy sauce with onion, garlic, and spices thrown in). But now, I wont even eat them with that. To oily, and mushy for me. Now there bigger striped brothers..... MMMMMMMMM!

What was the water temp? How deep?
