Biscoto and I had a special guest on board today-DoubleD (Doug). We headed out about 7:30 this morning and were greeted by a little sloppier ocean than what was forecasted last night. The plan to go fishin with DoubleD(Doug) was in the works for a while. He is visiting Wilmington with his wife for a few days. We decided to try some near shore areas, due to sea conditions, in hope of catchin a gag, sea bass, or red snapper. Well, DoubleD delivered on a couple of very nice American Red Snappers. Here are a couple of shots.







Enjoyed it today fellas even though mother nature made us cut the day a little short. Doug, congratulations on some very fine catches. Hope you enjoy your stay in our area. No complaints. Life is good. Slip.

Those are some very sweet snappers... Amazing how these have almost become just a plain catch for you guys!
Didn't get a chance of getting one today and had to settle for beeliners.....

Nice looking ARS...something told me to stay on the hill today and finish the boat work. Now that the boats ready the wind just needs to stop blowing..Glad to see you boys got a couple hours in at least..Ken

Another great fishing report guys. Glad you got on them. I ate breakfast at Jimbo's this morning and once I heard you were fishing, I figured you wouldn't be out there long.

nice batch of ARS- just imagine you went for a long time not catching any and now they just seem to jump in the boat with you.

Great pics, and beautiful snappers! If the weather looks good I'll be down there this weekend for the Jigfest make-up trip...save some of those ARSs for us! Thanks for the report!
