    Slip Slidin Report 2/29

Beautiful winter day today in Southeastern North Carolina. Mother Nature finally decided to turn the fan off for a little while. Biscoto and I decided to head out for a little while and see if there were any critters left in the Atlantic. We made our noon departure time and were greeted by a mighty pretty ocean. Picked up a few fish at a few different stops. No consistent bites which seems to be the norm lately. Plenty of sharks also. Most fish came on live bait today. Here are a couple of shots of today's catch.

Enjoyed it as always Biscoto. No complaints. Life is good. Slip.

After a few days in cold and snowy Chicago a calm 55 degree Carolina February afternoon felt awful good!
Saw my first flying fish of the season today. 35 miles out 71 degree water. A bunch of trees are blooming. Spring has to be right around the corner.
Thanks for taking me fishing brother Nick.
