Slip Slidin Report 12/27

Been a while since the last report. Bottom Dweller and I headed out today in search of a few bottom critters. Had 5 cups of coffee this morning. BD brought biscuits from Bojangles. Asked me if I would like some on the way out. Told him I would feel better about eating one after we got the first keeper grouper in the box. First keeper was worth a five star meal at one of the finest restaurants. BD started off with this whopper. He measured at 35 inches. I think he was just as round as he was long.



The next one was not too far behind his fat friend.



I even got lucky and added a little weight to the box.




Really felt good to get back on the water. Ended up not eating anything and just fishing on adrenaline and caffeine. When we got back, I felt like I could have eaten the ass end of a hobby horse, I was that hungry. Didn't really matter. Keith, you really put a hurtin on em today. No mercy with that new Torque. It was a reel pleasure fishin with you. Biscoto, your order for a slab of grouper has been filled. It will be waitin on you when you get back. No complaints. Life is good. Slip.

very nice. I am eating a damn cheeseburger because the stripers would not cooperate today. They sure look tasty. Thank god harborside was on the way home.

Thanks for a great day on the water and putting us on some quality fish. Those first two Red's wore me out. I promise I wont ever ask for a fighting belt again, I imagine a gaff whacked over my head would hurt!
Again another adventurous day on the Slip Slidin from the 76.5 degree water temp, fishing till the sun set and running home at night under a star filled sky, blowing by the commercial boys King mack fishing. You could almost write a book about it!
