Slip Slidin Report 11/9

Biscoto and I headed out today for a little lunch break. I agreed totally with Sea Draggin about missing the longer summer days and the warmth that comes along with it. One thing that we do look forward to this time of year is the gag bite. There was one going on this afternoon. On our first stop we limited out on gags. Boxed one red also and released an 18 1/2 inch American Red Snapper and several more keeper gags. We couldn't keep the gags off the hook so we went further off with hopes of finishing out our limits with reds. Next stop produced numerous stud gags (all released for another day) and another red. Still hoping to get to the reds. Last stop produced ,yet again , more large gags and a couple of reds. Two reds short of two limits, we decide to head back to the hill as the sun is setting. The fall games have begun. Nice work out today. Enjoyed it as always Biscoto. No complaints. Life is good.

Pictures don't always tell the story. That Black Sea Bass in the middle is 19" even. A few more weeks and we should be seeing lots of 'em.

Nice catch fellas. Glad to hear the big'uns have moved inshore. And thats a nice seabass, mmm mmm good eatin'.

Nice black sea bass !! Those are some tasty fish too !!! Hoping to make a run to the stream for some wahoo on Tues if the weather holds.
