Slip Slidin Report 10/12

Biscoto and I decided to do a little flounder fishin close to the hill today. First area the wind decided to pick up enough to blow us off 130 feet off the mark. Nothing doing and off the mark we decide to try the next location. Make a 4 mile run south and drop anchor. We both start getting some weird bites that we can't come tight on. Finally, Biscoto sets the hook on one and up comes an octopus. Next time he comes tight it's a stud lizardo. Comes tight again and another monster lizardo. Frustration sets in for the both of us. Where to now. Head further south and look for spaniards. Well we found em. Had fun catchin em for about an hour. Pretty steady bite. Nice afternoon on the water. Hint of fall in the air. Enjoyed it as always Biscoto. Thanks. No complaints. Life is good. Slip.

man that is a cool picture..all those blue marlin baits. flounder were snapping in banks channel this afternoon...maybe they are on their way out to the reefs. bout time aint it?

The spaniards were thick up here at Topsail this week- even managed to catch 2 kings on spanish rigs this weekend.
