I guess that's why we never go skinny dippin' around the oyster toad lair! Owweeeeee! Speaking of trash fish, you boys should be collecting the lizard fish and selling them to the king tourney fishermen. A few years back, Capt. Nick and myself were fishing the "Bare Necessity" my old 2550 Pursuit in the Wilmington tourney, nothing but schoolie snakes. One of the lines went off and the cell phone rang. On the line - a large lizard fish. On the phone - another fishing bud - who said HEY! put that old preacher's d#@! out on a live line, King's LOVE 'em. After a few minutes of Nick's protests - "I'm not puttin' that nasty bastarrrrdo out when we've go beautiful pogies...." we finally put the lizard out and caught the biggest king of the day - worth $500 in fish bowl money as I recall. Now boys - we're talking when gas was south of a buck a gallon - so that money was big news for us.
